The Department of Political Science and Law of Lorestan University began to recruit and exchange law graduates from 2013 with the follow-up of the then president of the university and vice-presidents, and started working from the first semester of 1992-1993 with three faculty members and accepting 35 daily undergraduate students. The group is trying to create higher levels according to its scientific ability. Political science department of Lorestan University started working in 1392. The main goal of establishing this discipline is to train political experts committed to religious values and the foundations of the holy system of the Islamic Republic. Now this field is trying to create higher levels according to its scientific ability. The success of some of the first graduates of Lorestan University's political science major in the master's exams of the country's top universities shows their hard work and compassionate efforts of political science faculty members.
