The Department of Psychology of Lorestan University started its activity in 2008 by accepting students in the Bachelor's degree in General Psychology. Currently, the Department of Psychology is open for undergraduates in general psychology and counseling and guidance, master's degrees in general psychology and educational psychology, and doctoral degrees in general psychology and educational psychology. Currently, the psychology department is working with 8 faculty members. It is hoped that in the future, by increasing the number of faculty members and launching various psychology and counseling programs in the master's and doctoral degrees, he will be able to serve the honorable people of Lorestan province and our country, Islamic Iran.
